Horse Rescue is something very close to our hearts here at Oatis & Honey. Four out of five of our own horses are rescue horses. We had always said from the very start of this business that we will be supporting horse rescue in Australia as much as we could and to give back as much as we can. We are both very fortunate to have built a wonderful friendship with two incredible horse rescue and welfare organisations who we have donated to and assisted for years. 

Save A Horse Australia and Amanda Vella's - Bella Vita Equine Welfare and Horse Sanctuary, both do an amazing job rescuing and rehabilitating horses throughout South East Queensland and beyond. I've personally seen the lengths these organisations go to ensure the safety and care of all horses who come through their gates. I've seen the sleepless nights, I've seen them work nearly every hour in a day and I've seen the tears when they have had to say goodbye to the ones who couldn't be saved but even those horses got to feel the most special thing in their last moments .... they felt what its like to be loved again, something I feel all horses should feel in that moment.
