Support Horse Rescue
Horse rescue is something very close to our hearts here at Oatis & Honey, we both have had horses in our lives for many years. We are very passionate about horses rescue and ensuring horses are cared for and loved in a way that ensures they never see another day of neglect, abuse or heartbreak again. Unfortunately, that is simply not the case for all horses here in Australia. Its sadly common for horses to be tossed away like a toy or to not be cared for like they should be. Month after month, horses are placed in sales pens across this country, with many of those horses are sold to a kill buyer and are carted off in trucks to endure a horrible and in my opinion, a cruel end to their life.
Both Save A Horse Australia & Bella Vita Equine Rescue & Horse Sanctuary have both done remarkable work to save many horses from slaughter, neglect and abuse to provide the best care possible to their specific needs. They work tirelessly and around the clock to provide specialised and experienced care for all of their rescue horses. They give these rescue horses the chance to feel love one more time, this is something I feel that all horses should feel throughout their lifetime. Both organisations do an amazing job to rehabilitate and rehome horses with approved foster carers via adoption under a detailed legal contract.
The exceptional work done by both SAHA and Bella Vita are second to none. They are the leaders in Australian horse rescue and here at Oatis & Honey, we will do our absolute best to give back to both of these organisations. This is our way to say a massive THANK YOU for the work you do to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome horses throughout this country! To collaborate with these two wonderful horse rescue organisations is truly a dream come true. I have personally watched both rescues to go to the absolute brink and back for the welfare and safety of their rescue horses.
